expression of interest

Job description

interested in joining us, but not seeing the right role? we want to hear from you!

turbopuffer is always looking for people who are exceptional at what they do, who get obsessive about what they're building, and thrive on intensity (while not taking themselves too seriously). if this sounds like you, drop us a note. let us know the area you excel in, and what makes you p99.

you might be p99 if you've done something like:

- shipped open source projects, a database, a search engine, or infra that real people use

- founded a company, or built a product from zero to production

- won a serious competition in coding, math, or engineering

- played competitive sports

- reached the highest level with a musical instrument

- achieved a high level of mastery in chess, or strategy games

must have:

- typist: you can write well and simply explain complex ideas

- human: you build trust and admit what you don't know

- systematic: you methodically work through problems until you've found the root cause

tpuf is hardcore & whimsical. we value:

- overstep > understep

- show > tell

- complexity is earned

- showing up as part of our customer’s team

- making stuff easy to react to

we review submission on an ongoing basis, and keep them on file. we'll reach out if we have a position open up that might be a match!
