Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guards - Part- Time in Nisku, AB. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with Access control, CCTV camera monitoring skills, and willingness to work various shifts and various sites, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution center, you enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.
Job Title: Security Guard - Part-Time
Job Location: Nisku, AB
Pay Rate: $ 19.32 per hour
Shifts: Saturday & Sunday : 2:00AM - 10:00AM
Requirement:
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid Alberta security guard license
- Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :
- Access control for the facility/area
- Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
- Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
- Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
- Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
- Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
- Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
- Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
